API Swivel Flange

Swivel Flange for Subsea based on API 17D made by ROSSI. Since there are no specific guidelines matched for Swivel Flanges design and fabrication, ROSSI developed and improved his own design according to API 17D, and now ROSSI can produce Swivel Flange with Low and High alloy along with Stainless Steel.

Basically, Swivel Flange is consists of two parts; welding hub with a rotating ring which acts as a mating flange to a weld Neck or other Face. It also includes a retaining ring that holds the welding hub to the rotating ring.

Rating:

Similar to a Flange, it can be from Class 150 to 2500, and according to ASME B16.5, MSS SP44. the Face can be RTJ, RF and FF, depends on the client’s requirement,

Material

Refer to ROSSI material page; technically all grades are available but most common for subsea is alloy carbon steel
